Bjork and Thom Yorke team up for Iceland

Not all the news coming out of Iceland is of the bleak, economic meltdown variety. Today Icelandic diva Bjork teamed up with Radiohead's Thom Yorke to release the new "Nattura" single in support of a greener Iceland.

"It is now more important than ever before to emphasize a respect for nature," Bjork says. "I believe that profits, technological advances and working together with nature can all go hand in hand. None need to be sacrificed at the expense of the others."

Written and produced by Bjork and released on her own One Little Indian label, "Nattura" boasts a darkly ambient soundscape, reminsicent of Bjork's pre-Volta work, and features musical backing by longtime collaborators Matthew Herbert on synth/bass, Mark Bell on electronic beats and Lightning Bolt drummer Brian Chippendale.
